Israel – Premier Tech is excited to reveal a new customized HJC FURION 2.0 helmet for Giacomo Nizzolo to use in Milano – Sanremo on Saturday.

The special helmet is designed by TRC Design with inspiration from both Milan and Sanremo, showing the famous cathedral in Milan on the back and with flowers on the front and both sides as Sanremo is known as “The city of flowers” in Italy.

The main theme on the helmet also comes from Sanremo in the shape of lyrics from the popular song “Ciao Ciao”, which premiered at the big Sanremo music festival last month.

The lyrics from the chorus are the following:

Con le mani, con le mani, con le mani
Ciao ciao
Con la testa, con il petto, con il cuore
Ciao ciao
E con le gambe, con il culo, coi miei occhi
Ciao!

(Translated)
With the hands, with the hands, with the hands
Ciao ciao
And with the head, with the chest, with the heart
Ciao ciao
And with the legs, with luck, with my eyes
Ciao!

Giacomo Nizzolo explains: “I was singing this song to myself during a training ride recently and then it hit me; ‘To win Milano – Sanremo you need all these ingredients’. It requires a strong mind, a big heart, good legs and a bit of luck. Well, actually, for this race, you need a lot of luck. I thought to myself that it would be a good occasion to celebrate this race with the most popular song that came out of the music festival in Sanremo this year. It really does capture all the things you need to win here.”

Milano – Sanremo is the first of the five ‘Monuments’ on the calendar. Despite its 293 km long course, it’s often referred to as the ‘easiest race to finish, but the hardest one to win’. It usually comes down to two different scenarios. Either a late attack sticks or the fast guys sprint for glory. Fresh off a strong performance in Tirreno Adriatico and with his new customized HJC helmet, Nizzolo hopes to engrave his name in the history books on Saturday with a big result.
