Israel – Premier Tech’s Tour de France riders will race on a limited edition Factor Bikes OSTRO VAM inspired by the team’s Racing for Change initiative.

To coincide with IPT’s Field of Dreams campaign to build a bike center in Bugesera, Rwanda, launched this week, the Factor OSTRO VAM features a unique colourway, fading from blue to black with a gloss finish. To complement the team’s new Tour de France kit, the frame features the bright Imigongo pattern, a traditional Rwandan art form, the hero of IPT’s new kit.

Having our bikes on the start line of any Tour is always exciting, but this year there is an additional pleasure,” Rob Gitelis, Factor Bikes CEO, said. “We are proud to be a part of the Israel – Premier Tech Field of Dreams initiative, and thrilled that the bike design looks so distinctive. We have high hopes for the team’s performance and great respect for everything the team is doing for the Rwandan cycling community.”

Equipped with BlackInc wheels in tubeless configuration, Black Inc handlebars, Rotor power meter and cranks, Selle Italia saddle, and Maxxis tires, the OSTRO VAM will be seen on the streets of Copenhagen today before gracing the stage at tonight’s Tour de France team presentation.

In addition to the CeramicSpeed wheel, bottom bracket and headset SLT bearings, CeramicSpeed is paying tribute to the Grand Départ in Copenhagen with a Danish flag special edition design of its newly released OSPW (Oversized Pulley Wheel System) Aero. To celebrate the brand’s Danish heritage, the OSPW will be seen on Jakob Fuglsang’s OSTRO VAM and the team’s Factor HANZŌ bikes for the stage one time trial.

Fans who donate any amount to the Field of Dreams fundraiser between now and the end of the Tour de France will have the unique opportunity to win one of the special edition Racing for Change bikes raced by an IPT rider in this year’s Tour.
