Sylvan Adams, IPT owner, extended his warm welcome to the promising sprinter stating, “I’m often asked about the Israeli riders on our team, and why an Israeli isn’t in this race or another one. My answer is that our Israeli riders are solid professionals, not token riders who get favored treatment (protectzia). We are developing strong riders in our U23 Development program. Oded’s promotion to the Pro Team is validation that we are on the right path. Oded earned his place through his ability, determination and performances. I’m very excited for his future. Welcome to the big show, Oded. I’m confident that you will do big things.”

Rik Verbrugghe, IPT Sports Manager, also commended Kogut’s talents. “Coming from our Continental Team is a great sign for all young riders in the U23 team. Oded is a promising sprinter who can win but also work in a lead out due to his open-minded spirit. I’m looking forward to seeing him in action at the world tour level. He is one of the most talented Israeli riders that we have developed and we are looking forward to giving him the opportunity to learn at the highest level.”

Oded Kogut echoed this excitement and commitment. Having dreamt of joining the professional team, he noted, “The dream has become a goal, and now I am ready to fight for victories on the highest level”.
